Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center Announces Former Top Presidential Advisor as Spirit of Hope 2013 Guest Speaker


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 12, 2012) - Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) is thrilled to announce that Condoleezza Rice has been chosen as the Guest Speaker for the 2013 Spirit of Hope Benefit. Ms. Rice is the former U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, as well as a former Provost at Stanford University and now a professor at Stanford's Graduate School of Business.

"Ms. Rice is an inspirational role model who has risen to the top of every field she has entered, including politics, diplomacy, academia, music and athletics," explained Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of FSWC. The Spirit of Hope Benefit is the major annual fundraiser for FSWC, a non-profit human rights organization committed to countering racism and antisemitism and to promoting the principles of tolerance, social justice and Canadian democratic values through advocacy and education.
