From the Bedroom to the Living Room The Saatva Company Launches Its First TV Ad Campaign

"Buy Smart, Sleep Well"

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 19, 2016) - The Saatva Company, America's fastest growing online-only luxury mattress brand, today launched its first-ever television campaign, debuting in the New York market before a national rollout later this quarter. The campaign comes on the heels of Saatva's launch of its third mattress brand, a 100% natural latex mattress called Zenhaven.

Since Saatva's start five years ago, the company has grown into one of the largest online-only mattress companies in North America, offering three product lines: the Saatva mattress, a classic luxury innerspring; Loom & Leaf, an ultra-premium memory foam mattress; and the recently launched Zenhaven mattress, made of 100% natural latex. The driving concept of the campaign centers around a new mattress shopping experience, as pioneered by Saatva, one of the earliest online-only mattress brands and one of the most successful e-commerce companies in recent years.

The new campaign, created by ad agency Hyperbolous, features two 60-second spots derived from this concept, broken down into two visual experiences and approaches to the company's story:

  • "Saatva Anthem" guides the viewer through a delightful and luxurious mattress-buying experience, focusing on the superior value and hassle-free purchasing and delivery process offered by Saatva
  • "Mattress City" features an animated sequence that calls out traditional mattress stores for their never-ending sales and gimmicky tactics, and then invites the viewer to discover Saatva as a more intelligent way of buying a mattress

The two 60-second spots were conceptualized and produced under the direction of Blaine Lifton, Executive Creative Director of Hyperbolous, in partnership with Mayo Studios. Lifton's team at Hyperbolous has produced 3 brand videos for The Saatva Company, most recently for the launch of its Zenhaven product line, a 90-second video that was part of the company's "Return to Nature" campaign and focused on the eco-friendly, 100%-natural product aspects. This latest TV campaign helps usher the company into a new era, and speaks to Saatva's leadership in its crowded category.
