Frost & Sullivan Features Sigma Systems in Acquisition Integration Best Practices Guidebook

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2015) - Sigma Systems, the pioneer of Idea to Install, has been featured in a Best Practice Guidebook by Frost & Sullivan. The guidebook profiles how Sigma's approach to post-acquisition integration blends the best of both parent and acquired companies, leading to improved talent retention, process efficiency, and market visibility.

After the acquisition of Tribold in 2013, Sigma had to integrate different market approaches and business processes without compromising each company's most valuable attributes. The guidebook covers everything from integration team structure, to process, vision and key lessons learned.

"It was upfront planning, communication and alignment on core values and vision," said Tim Spencer, Sigma President and COO. "They were vital to talent retention, market acceptance, product alignment and culture. Sigma became a better company because we allowed ourselves to be open to integrating the best of both companies."

"Sigma Systems demonstrated remarkable confidence in acquisition integration by exercising a philosophy of mutual respect and appreciation," noted Frost & Sullivan analyst Jillian Walker. "Despite the fact that most companies struggle with post-acquisition integration, Sigma's strategy increased revenue, maximized efficiency and refreshed its brand."

This Best Practice Guidebook documents how Sigma Systems implemented a best-of-both post-acquisition integration strategy and an internal-to-external rebranding campaign rooted in shared company values and is available from Frost & Sullivan.
