Fujitsu Appoints Anthony Doye President and CEO of Fujitsu America
Veteran Technology Services Leader Will Accelerate Growth and Drive Strategy to Deliver Fujitsu Solutions and Services in North America
SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - June 3, 2010) - Fujitsu America (http://solutions.us.fujitsu.com) has appointed Anthony "Tony" Doye as president and CEO of Fujitsu America. Doye brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, where he will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Fujitsu America and focusing the business on the needs of clients in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean, as well as the company's supporting operations in India.
- Tony Doye joins Fujitsu America from Unisys, where he served as president of Unisys Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services and senior vice president of Unisys. In this position, he managed more than $2 billion in revenue, and revitalized and restructured the business to achieve profitability. Before that, Doye was group president of Strategic Programs and the Technology Management Group at Computer Sciences Corp. He has also held several global businesses management roles at IBM and British Telecom.
- In addition to accelerating growth for Fujitsu in the North American market, Doye will drive the Fujitsu strategy for delivering to clients end-to-end technology solutions, ranging from cloud computing and managed services to consulting and application integration, as well as the server, storage, software, and mobile platform offerings.
- Doye will also oversee North American relations with Fujitsu alliance partners, including Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, salesforce.com, Symantec and the company's North American reseller partners.
