Full Metal Announces 2006 Exploration Program at Lucky Shot

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2006) - Full Metal Minerals (TSX VENTURE:FMM) is pleased to announce the details of its 2006 Exploration Program for the 100% owned Lucky Shot project, located 90 km north of Anchorage, Alaska. Commencing in late April 2006, Full Metal plans to drill a minimum of 10,000 meters in approximately 60 diamond drill holes. In the summer of 2005, the Company discovered a high-grade extension of the historic Lucky Shot Shear (see FMM 2005 - NR #16).

Lucky Shot Highlights:

- 2005 Intercepts include 219.1 g/t Au over 4.0 meters true width and 62.23 g/t Au over 3.05 meters true width

- Extension to past-producing mine with 250,000 oz. produced at an average grade of 1.5 oz/ton Au(1)

- Lucky Shot Shear open to expansion in multiple directions

- Multiple undrilled gold-bearing structures throughout property

- Potential for 'stacked structures'

- Road access with power and infrastructure nearby

1. Compiled from Company and Alaska Department of Mines Records from 1921 to 1940.

The primary objectives for the 2006 Exploration Program are to delineate the Lucky Shot shear in the vicinity of the 2005 drilling with the objective of producing a NI43-101 compliant Resource Estimation, and to expand the extent of mineralization to the west and northwest. Drill holes completed by Full Metal as well as historic drill holes have all intersected the Lucky Shot Shear approximately 250m (820ft) up-dip of the historic workings and 250m (820ft) along strike. Additionally, other structures will be drill tested, including: the Dewitt Vein, Hope Vein and Nippon Vein. Full Metal will also commence environmental baseline and engineering studies.

The Lucky Shot project is located in the historic Willow Creek Mining District. This area is the 2nd largest historic lode gold producing region of Alaska, with documented production from Company Records and The Alaska Department of Mines listed at over 620,000 oz. Au from multiple veins and shears. Prior to Full Metal's 2005 exploration program, limited modern exploration has been performed in the district since the mine closures. Property infrastructure is excellent, with road access from Anchorage and close proximity to both rail and power. Camp and maintenance facilities are operated year-round.

Gold-bearing structures at Lucky Shot occur within a granitoid batholith, similar to the Grass Valley deposits in the famous Motherlode Camp, California. Historic mining exploited shallow-dipping, one to two meter wide gold-bearing quartz veins, however the recent drilling has revealed the veins occur within wider shear zones, with an average true width of three to five meters. These shears are comprised of silicified cataclasites and altered granite, as well as quartz veins with strong visible gold and telluride mineralization with minor amounts of sulphides.

Full Metal completed surface sampling on additional mineralized structures on the Lucky Shot Property during the 2005 program. A single grab sample of mineralized material from an old dump at the Nippon Vein, located 6km east of Lucky Shot averaged 56.6 g/t Au. A channel sample within a steeply dipping fault zone located south of the Nippon Vein averaged 2.69 g/t Au over 6.1m, confirming the potential for a mineralized feeder system.

Full Metal's 2006 exploration program will be supervised by Robert McLeod, P.Geo., Vice President Exploration, for Full Metal Minerals Ltd., and a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101. Analysis will be performed by ALS-Chemex Labs of Vancouver, B.C. A sample quality control/quality assurance program will be implemented.

Full Metal Minerals will be announcing further plans for the 2006 field season in Alaska, including a minimum of six diamond drill programs totaling $6 million in exploration. The Company has Joint Venture agreements with Metallica Resources, Triex Minerals Corp., and Fury Explorations.
