FullFact to Offer Free First Year OEE Toolkit

LIESHOUT, THE NETHERLANDS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 1, 2007 -- FullFact BV, developer of OEE Toolkit software, announces a new licensing arrangement. After a decade of setting the standard for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) software, OEE Toolkit sets a new standard by offering a full version for one year's free use. According to Arno Bouten, Sales Manager of FullFact BV, "The cost of the software license should not be a barrier to improve OEE. This arrangement provides a no-cost entry path to manufacturers who can benefit by eliminating the six major losses of production." Until now mainly big companies like Starbucks, Campbells, Paccar, Texas Instruments and Alcoa used OEE Toolkit. The reduced price brings OEE Toolkit within reach for all manufacturing companies. The full version of OEE Toolkit is for one year's free use. To continue after the first year an annual fee will be required.

"OEE Toolkit is accurate and simple. Manual data collection doesn't work here," says Raoul van der Herten, TPM Manager at Campbells. "We tried it for 2 years, but we found that 15% of the production time wasn't accounted for and the data was often unreliable. The implementation of OEE Toolkit on the pilot line already produced the first important results. OEE Toolkit revealed that on average there were 30 idle intervals every hour. Because the line did not completely shut down, this had never been noticed before. However the line's 'bottleneck' stopped for 20 to 30 seconds each time. That time is lost forever. We are convinced of the power of OEE Toolkit and are now planning to introduce it in our other packaging lines."

Campbells did a lot of research before finally choosing OEE Software. The main requirement was that the 'solution' had to be able to collect production data automatically. Various solutions were then compared. OEE Toolkit won hands down on user friendliness, input speed, low costs and insight into the 'OEE material' of the FullFact team.
