Fundamental to the Needs of the Publishing Industry, PixelMags, Inc. Is Moving Their Business Model to SAAS

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 12, 2014) - PixelMags, a leader in content distribution for the magazine publishing industry, announced today they are realigning their business to a SAAS model, fundamental to the publishing industry, with significant changes to their overall business model.

"We've been on the forefront of the digital revolution with our publishing partners for almost five years now. We've worked closely with them, listened to them and we know what they're looking for," explained Ryan Marquis, founder & COO. "We feel that it's time to move away from a revenue share pricing model, in favor of one that's based on a much simpler SAAS model where we are compensated on a flat fee per month, per Newsstand model," continued Marquis.

A leap in technical development means PixelMags will launch its deconstruction service that's taken over five years to perfect. This will form just part of the new changes by PixelMags. They know that deconstructing consistent and high quality content is the key to delivering the best experience to consumers. This will be used in many new ways, including allowing content to flow into all major newsstands, in all markets, in many different formats via API's or traditional means of delivery. This approach enables the use of many third parties or bespoke Apps, but can also feed through a CMS to populate web and other HTML environments.

The new business model will focus on multi-channel fulfillment for publishers. PixelMags will continue to integrate seamlessly into the existing publishing workflow with a simple upload of a magazine, ensuring that magazines are delivered to all major newsstands safely, securely and on time.
