Mooswa Films is excited to announce today that Moosemeat & Marmalade will be back for Season Two on APTN in 2016, thanks to funding support from the Bell Fund and the Canadian Media Fund.

Moosemeat & Marmalade, a hilarious 13-episode food documentary, contrasts First Nations Bush Cook Art Napoleon with classically trained European Chef Dan Hayes, showcasing the best food and culinary techniques each culture has to offer.

Season Two takes the show across BC to Ontario and over to Scotland, where the chefs will explore a host of cuisines, cook with surprise guest celebrities, and venture into some extreme food tastings. (Sea Lamprey, anyone?) Season Two also explores the controversy around food sustainability, investigating problems caused by invasive animals to local farming, crops, and indigenous species.

"The audience response to Moosemeat & Marmalade's first season was off the charts. People love this show's ability to deliver next level food info and entertainment," explains Mike Wavrecan, Producer, Mooswa Films. "In season two, people can expect to see even more raw and rugged moments showcasing the unique, contrasting styles and cultures of two of Canada's cutting-edge culinary contributors: Art Napoleon and Dan Hayes."

Moosemeat & Marmalade Season Two is tentatively set to air on APTN in the Fall of 2016.
