Further Drilling Confirms Tulla Area's Potential for Zinc Mineralization

11 October 2012

                                     IMC Exploration Group Plc
                                     ("IMC" or the "Company")

FURTHER DRILLING CONFIRMS TULLA AREA'S POTENTIAL FOR ZINC MINERALIZATION

The directors of IMC Exploration Group Plc ("IMC") are pleased to announce that findings from
further drilling undertaken in Prospecting Licence Area 3729, Tulla, Co. Clare has confirmed this
area's potential to host significant zinc and other base metal mineralization.

IMC increased its drilling activity as a result of encouraging indications from drill-hole 11-3729-
01, drilling three more holes (12-3729-02/03/04) in order to further understand and confirm this
area's exploration potential.

Dr John Kelly PGeo, MIMM, MIQ of SLR Consulting Ireland Limited, and member of EurGeol who
provided, the original expert reporting on Drill-hole 11-3729-01, was commissioned to review drill-
cores from the further three drill-holes undertaken in the Tulla area.

Dr. Kelly reported that, "In addition to the hydrothermal dolomitic breccias intersected in drill-
hole 11-3729-01, drill-holes 12-3729-03 and 12-3729-04 intersected significant haematisation of
Waulsortian limestones and alteration of sub-Waulsortian shales from black/grey to green. Such
haematisation and shale alteration has been recorded as being associated with base-metal
mineralisation at the Tynagh, Silvermines, Lisheen and Crinkill base-metal deposits."

In his conclusion, Dr Kelly stated, "The presence of haematisation in Waulsortian limestones in
bore-holes 12-3729-03 and 12-3729-04, in conjunction with the hydrothermal breccias intersected in
bore-hole 11-3729-01, confirms the presence of a potential base-metal bearing hydrothermal system
and enhances the prospectivity of licences in the Tulla area."

Commenting on the report and its findings, Dr Glenn Millar, Managing Director of IMC said: "This
report, with its positive findings, further confirms the directors' conviction that the Tulla
Prospecting Licence has the potential to host significant zinc and other base metal mineralization.
Together with the recent strong gold results in our Wexford licence areas, this is indeed an exciting
time for IMC on the first anniversary of its listing on the Plus Market."

The Directors of the company accept responsibility for the contents of this announcement.
