The Futura Loyalty Group Obtains Exclusive License to Sell New Prepaid eCOM Mastercard® Gift Cards in Canada

The Futura Loyalty Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FUT) (the "Company") today announced that it has entered into a three year, exclusive licensing agreement with ECOM Financial Corp. and its subsidiary, EcomCard Canada Inc., to market and sell the new prepaid eCOM MasterCard Gift Card, a low-fee prepaid gift card product that allows consumers greater flexibility than traditional "closed loop" gift cards which can only be used at the issuing merchant's locations, limiting their range of use and consumer appeal.

The eCOM MasterCard Gift Card can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. The card offers consumers a convenient, prepaid, non-personalized option for gift giving with no application required as the card is instantly issued at a merchant location. Further, the prepaid card does not need to be secured with other credit cards, bank accounts or credit lines. Card activation and redemption utilizes current payment technologies at point of sale and the cards can also be activated on-line or through a toll free number.

The card is available in denominations of $25 to $500, with low upfront fees and no ongoing transaction fees. The cards are not reloadable so spend is limited to the originally purchased denomination and are ideal for parents looking to provide teens with access to funds in a controlled manner. The gift cards are also a convenient solution for consumers otherwise unable to acquire credit cards but want the flexibility of on-line shopping or car rentals in addition to traditional retail storefront purchasing. As well, given their discreet nature, the cards are an excellent prevention of identity theft when used to make purchases on-line or by telephone.

The card will be distributed by Futura through multiple well-known retailers and other channels directly to the consumer. Merchants and groups will have the opportunity to develop customized products as the eCOM MasterCard Gift Card allows cards and packaging to be co-branded, providing these organizations all the benefits of the prepaid product while leveraging the merchant or group brand recognition.
