Future US Launches CES Future Tech Winner Awards

Maximum Tech, Maximum PC and Mac|Life to Name Best of the Best in Technology Featured at 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - December 22, 2010) - In anticipation of the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Future US announces the first-ever Future Tech Winner (FTW) awards, honoring the best of the best in technology featured at this year's show. The FTW recipients will be selected by the on-site editors of Future's leading technology publications, Maximum Tech, Maximum PC and Mac|Life. All products at CES qualify for entry; for consideration, submit online by Wednesday, January 5.

The awards program is broken down by category and publication, and winners will be featured accordingly in Maximum Tech, Maximum PC and Mac|Life across print, online and mobile. Winners will be announced on Friday, January 7, via and the Maximum Tech CES mobile app.

"We're taking CES by storm this year, unveiling a number of special content initiatives -- including the Maximum Tech CES App, which will enhance the CES experience for fans on-site and at home," said Kate Byrne, Vice President of Technology, Future US.

The free Maximum Tech CES App for iPhone and Android, sponsored by Intel Corporation, will keep 2011 CES attendees and enthusiasts up to date with the show. The app offers all the latest CES news with featured editorial from the Maximum Tech, Maximum PC and Mac|Life editors, a live photo feed and the announcement of the Future Tech Winner awards. In addition, the app features an exhibitor directory and useful CES info to help attendees navigate the show floor.
