For the eleventh year in a row, FWA (Financial Women's Association of New York) has been chosen to participate in the grants generated by the BMO Capital Markets Equity Through Education Trading Day which will take place this year on September 17, 2015.

Over the eleven-year period, BMO's contributions to FWA's Educational Fund of approximately $2,000,000 in total have allowed the FWA to provide mentoring and scholarship assistance to countless students primarily at CUNY's Baruch College, recently chosen by Washington Monthly as #1 "Best Bang for the Buck" of four-year colleges in the Northeast, out of a field of 402 colleges in the Northeast.

FWA mentoring and scholarship programs have touched over 6,000 lives over the years and BMO's contribution to funding those programs has been instrumental in allowing FWA to reach so many students.

"BMO Capital Markets is proud to partner once again with the Financial Women's Association and provide opportunities to bright, young women pursuing higher education," says Alan Tannenbaum, Co-Head of Global Equity Products and Executive Sponsor of the Equity Through Education program. "The opportunities made available to students across New York City through the FWA create a lasting impact."

"On behalf of the FWA, I want to thank BMO for their ongoing generosity and support of the FWA Educational Fund," said Katrin Dambrot, President of the FWA. She added, "Through our mentoring and scholarship programs, we see young, deserving lives transformed every year." Dambrot went on to say, "The young lives we have touched have gone on to become significant contributors and leaders in companies throughout New York and elsewhere, and we are extremely proud of what BMO and the FWA have accomplished together."
