G & S Minerals Appoints Edward C. Stanojev Jr. to the Board of Directors

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - March 18, 2008) - G & S Minerals, Inc. dba Gold & Silver Minerals (PINKSHEETS: GSML) (FRANKFURT: G9S), a mining company focused on developing high-quality and low-risk mineral resource and energy prospects, today announced that the Company appointed Edward C. Stanojev Jr. to the Board of Directors to succeed Brendan English, who concurrently resigned. Mr. Stanojev was also named Secretary of the Company.

Mr. Stanojev re-joins the Board of Directors after previously serving on the Board in late 2006 through mid 2007. Recently, Mr. Stanojev has consulted to G & S Minerals in connection with the Company's agreement with Mayan Gold. Mr. Stanojev will continue to remain integral to the completion of the transactions with Mayan Gold.
