NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jan 30, 2013) - G2, a top-five global marketing services agency, today announced the appointment of Christopher Cooper to the role of Group Director, Digital Strategy out of G2 New York. Cooper brings over 15 years of strategic communications and digital experience planning expertise. He will report to Eric Pakurar, Executive Director, US Head of Planning.

In his most recent role, Cooper served as VP Group Account Director, Account Planning for Digitas in New York. He headed up the New York agency's primary research capability and was responsible for strategic planning and consumer insights on Comcast.
Previously, Cooper led planning initiatives for Seroquel XR and Nexium as Senior Planner for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness in New York, including uncovering unique patient insights, "storying" product claims and championing the big idea to inform the development of compelling and differentiating creative ideas. He also served as Digital Planning Lead for Ogilvy, where he led user experience and content strategy development engagements for Time Warner Cable, Dove, Six Flags and TD Ameritrade.
In addition to his planning duties, Chris is a Jungian psychoanalyst in training at the C.G Jung Institute of New York. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Harford, CT. Additionally, Cooper holds a Masters in Science of Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and a graduate degree for stage directing from the Trinity Rep Conservatory/Brown University.
