Galaxy Cinemas Pergola Commons Opens Friday, December 14

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 3, 2012) - Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX) today announced that Guelph's newest movie theatre, Galaxy Cinemas Pergola Commons, will open to the public on Friday, December 14, 2012.

Galaxy Cinemas Pergola Commons is located at Gordon Street and Clair Road in south Guelph.

Tickets for the highly anticipated movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, go on sale on Friday, December 7, 2012, at www.cineplex.com or through the Cineplex mobile app. Tickets for other movies go on sale through Cineplex Entertainment's online and mobile channels on the evening of Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The theatre box office opens 30 minutes before the first shows begin on Friday, December 14, 2012.

Galaxy Cinemas Pergola Commons features eight screens and 1,600 seats - including Guelph's most cutting edge movie-going experience - an UltraAVX™ auditorium. UltraAVX auditoriums offer a fully immersive cinema experience, complete with wall-to-wall screens, Dolby® Atmos surround sound and upgraded seats that guests can reserve in advance. The theatre is RealD 3D capable and all auditoriums offer digital projection.
