Galeos Miso Dressings Are a Flavorful and Nutritious Gluten-Free Option

To Celebrate National Celiac Awareness Month, Galeos Offers Free Gluten-Free Recipe

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - May 29, 2012) - May is National Celiac Awareness Month and Galeos Miso Dressings are the perfect culinary option for those searching for flavorful and nutritious dressings that are also 100% gluten-free. While more food companies and restaurants offer gluten-free foods, many of those items rely on not-so-healthful ingredients to make them flavorful.

Award-winning Galeos Miso Dressings, on the other hand, are made with only all-natural ingredients, and contain no MSG, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. The dressings use a base of miso, which is fermented soybean paste, to create uniquely satisfying tangy flavors that complement a wide range of foods from salads and sandwiches to meat, chicken and fish dishes.

"Gluten-free foods shouldn't be flavorless or unhealthy," said Chef Andrei Leontieff, founder of Galeos Miso Dressings. "Our unique blend of flavors in each of our Galeos Dressings is the answer for celiac sufferers who crave delicious, not bland, foods."

To celebrate National Celiac Awareness Month, Chef Andrei Leontieff, founder of Galeos Dressings, has created a special gluten-free recipe.

Gluten-Free Southwest Noodles

  • 3 ounces Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 ounces Maitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Japanese eggplant, peeled and sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • 2 packages gluten free noodles
  • 1/2 cup Galeos Miso Southwest dressing (or any of the other four flavors of Galeos Miso Gluten-Free Dressing)

Preparation:

Cook noodles according to package directions until tender. Drain.

In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil (add more if necessary) and cook the eggplant for about 2 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and continue cooking until vegetables are tender, about 2 - 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute. Add the drained noodles and the Galeos dressing. Gently stir together to coat evenly.

Serve immediately. Garnish with cilantro and parsley. Serves 2.

"Just like that," says Chef Andrei.
