Gallery Resources Limited: Numerous Targets Outlined From Recently Completed AeroTEM II Survey at Shabogamo Property, Western Labrador, Canada

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 17, 2005) - Gallery Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:GYR) of Vancouver B.C. and its partner, global resources company, BHP Billiton, have contracted Aeroquest Limited of Milton, Ontario to interpret and model the recently completed AeroTEM II survey on the Shabogamo Project, Western Labrador, Canada. We are very pleased to announce that the preliminary results have indicated numerous targets of active EM (Electromagnetic) responses which will be integrated and interpreted with the known geology to further assist and develop drill-ready targets.

In late May, Aeroquest Limited completed 2,736 kilometres of helicopter borne EM surveying over 7 separate grids covering the 2,123 new claims staked last fall, representing 50% of the total 4,320 claims comprising the property area. These new claims were staked following the discovery of Nickel-Copper-Cobalt (Ni-Cu-Co)-enriched net textured orthomagmatic sulphide in four holes drilled last fall (ref. Press Release November 26, 2004). As a result of this discovery, the Shabogamo Gabbro is now considered a legitimate exploration target and the drill intersections constitute the first definitive demonstration of orthomagmatic mineralization within the Shabogamo Gabbro (see June 2005 posting on Gallery's website at

The company is very pleased with these new developments and also reports its field crew is preparing for the 2005 drilling program which will continue drill testing of the new discovery zone and the four remaining priority targets identified during the successful 2004 AeroTEM II survey. Gallery will announce the start-up of the project as soon as work crews and equipment are in place.
