Galore Resources Wins Two Land Parcels By Way of Mexico-Based Lottery

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2010) - Galore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GRI) announces that the El Álamo and the Lucha 1 claims have been awarded to the Company through two separate competitive Mexican government mineral-claim lotteries. The El Álamo claim covers 172 hectares and is located at the northern end of the Company's Dos Santos property, adjacent to the San Jose epithermal exploration target. The Lucha 1 claim covers 200 hectares and is located within the Company's Santa Fe 3 claim.

The additional claims expand gold exploration potential to the west of San Jose and increase the size of the Dos Santos property to 15,960 hectares. Trace elements, associated with gold mineralization and alteration at San Jose, show a west-to-east trend, suggesting the San Jose mineralization system extends to the west on the El Álamo claim. A mapping and surface rock-sampling program will commence shortly on the El Álamo claim.

The Dos Santos project is located in a mining-friendly area with active mines, large gold deposits, a long mining history and excellent infrastructure. A 5,000-metre diamond-drilling program on Galore's La Palma IP anomaly, located in the southern area of the Dos Santos property will commence shortly. The interpreted depth and size of the anomaly is consistent with an exploration model based on the Camino Rojo gold-silver-lead-zinc deposit model, which was recently purchased by Goldcorp.

"We are quite pleased that Galore's strategy to enter into an open lottery process at a nominal cost resulted in the acquisition of two new claims. There were a number of other mining companies participating and Galore was awarded both claims. Mineral properties in this active mining district can be extremely difficult to acquire and these two new claims create additional exploration targets for the Company," says Michael Byrne, President of Galore.

The Dos Santos exploration program is managed by Ing. Octavio Gonzalez, Galore's Vice-President Exploration for Mexico. Uwe Schmidt, P.Geo., Vice-President Exploration and Galore's Qualified Person as defined by Canada's National Instrument 43-101, is responsible for supervising the Dos Santos program. Galore is a British Columbia-based exploration company that has assembled a leading group of industry professionals to acquire and explore for promising deposits with an emphasis on gold in Mexico and base metals in British Columbia.
