LARGO, FL--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2014) - Garb Oil & Power Corporation (OTC Pink: GARB) - Today the Company's Chief Executive Officer and President Tammy Taylor released the following open letter to shareholders to announce corporate initiatives and operations details to advance the Company's new management's vision within the new Company Business Plan.
TO THE SHAREHOLDERS OF GARB OIL & POWER CORPORATION
First let me express my gratitude for the support shareholders have provided, especially over the last few weeks.
Shortly after I joined the Company, the Company's Founder and retired Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman, John C. Brewer, contacted me. Mr. Brewer has tracked the Company since his departure in 2009. Last week he made several comments to me on our publically announced recent achievements stating "I have been watching your progress which has been exceptional considering what you had to work with. Keep up the good work and also tell Dan Burda hello for me, I also knew his dad. Both are nice people and Dan Burda is one of the top people in the shredding industry. He is a very valuable person to have working with you and is a great asset. You have done a good job and things do look much better."
Less than a month ago, I stated my, and the new Company team's commitments: "We intend to rebuild shareholder trust by executing on our expanded business plan, building our revenue base, and increasing our shareholder value. The Company must create real value while continuing to explore additional business opportunities."
Since then we filed OTC Initial Filings, moved up to OTC Pink Current Information and announced the Company had entered into a Collaborative Effort with Shredderhotline.com Company and Dan Scott Burda. This Collaborative Effort will generate immediate revenue through the sale of Industrial Shredders and related equipment. The equipment revenue range per order is several hundred thousand to over one million. This revenue will assist us in advancing other company operations. Today I provide additional Company team progress.
This week we begin visiting potential properties for the Company's Tampa Bay Area office/warehouse and the first Florida plant site, to be located north of the Tampa Bay Area. The office/warehouse will be used to house the Company's corporate staff and related activities which are needed now. The warehouse portion's initial use will be to provide inventory space for new truck tires and show case industrial recycling equipment including the Company's newly acquired access to Shredderhotline.com Company shredders. The first Florida plant site will be utilized initially for the Company's first waste-to-energy production plant. All Company sites will have at times some component of research and development in partnership with educational institutions' related technology departments as we disclosed when the new management took over the Company's reigns. The educational institutions' sites may also be utilized.
Even though there remains corporate preparation for the audit and address other due diligence findings, with the new management's team progress to date and the corporate initiatives above, we have transitioned our resources to fully concentrate on the corporate activities required to begin Company operations and related revenues as soon as practical.
We are currently updating www.garbreorg.com to reflect our progress thus far, please us there soon.
Tammy Taylor, Chief Executive Officer and President
