GardaWorld to Host a One-Day Job Fair at the Acclaim Calgary Airport Hotel

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 20, 2016) - GardaWorld Aviation Services, Canada's premier security screening services provider, announced today that it will host a job fair at the Acclaim Calgary Airport Hotel on July 22, from 10AM to 6PM to recruit Pre-Board Screening Officers for the opening of the new terminal at Calgary Airport. Retained candidates will need to earn their pre-board screening certification and go through up to 180 hours of paid in-class and on-the-job training.

Pre-Board Screening Officers in Canada are responsible for protecting civil aviation passengers, airline crew members and airport staff in the secured areas of the airport and on board their flights. They greet, direct, and inform passengers through the screening process. Screening Officers are trained to use the latest technologies; including x-ray machines, walk-through and hand-held metal detectors, and full-body scanners.
