Garrison Reports Encouraging Vein Extension Results and Appoints Engineering Group for Mongolia Project

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 19, 2007) - Garrison International Limited ("Garrison") (TSX VENTURE:GAU) announces that it has conducted further channel sampling and continues to expand its mineralization at the Tsaagan Tsahir Gold Project ("TSR"). A total of 104 rock chip channel samples taken at regular 10 metre intervals along new exposures of vein outcrop, show indications that mineralization extends northwards along the eastern vein for 3.5 kilometres from the existing Tsaagan Tsahir Gold Mine. Sampling of the veins near the mine show over extended intervals of mineralization including the following highlighted results:

Sample Vein Interval Gold
No. (metres) (g/t)
11170 0.4 8.4 Vein # 4
11171 0.6 10.5 Continuous
11172 0.6 3.5 Sampling
11173 0.8 8.3
11174 0.8 8.0
11175 0.6 67.9
11176 1.2 16.8

11187 1.1 12.5 Vein #11
11188 0.4 11.3 Continuous
11189 0.2 11.4 Sampling
11190 0.3 3.8
11191 0.5 6.2
11192 0.5 17.7

11199 0.6 83.3 Vein # 12
11200 0.4 0.1 Continuous
11201 0.6 33.4 Sampling
11202 0.5 3.8
11203 0.4 10.6
11204 0.4 6.0

Average results of the entire 104 samples collected from eight separate vein locations were 5.2 g/t Au. These results further confirm the bonanza gold grades of the veining at TSR. Widths in the deposit vary along strike from 0.2 to 1.2 metres with an average width of 0.45 centimetres. On the adjacent Tsaagan Tsahir Gold mine drill results from previous explorers (JICA) have demonstrated that mineralization is still present at 150 metre depth. Sampling and mapping of high grades vein exposures clearly demonstrates that ore shoots are present. This has also been demonstrated in local exposures of the veins from partisan workings (down to 15 metres). Mr. Tony Bainbridge, AIG, AUSIMM, a Qualified Person and an Officer and Director of Garrison supervised and executed the geological program.

In other news, Garrison has appointed 4D Sunshine Mining Engineering International Group (SME) of Beijing, which is headed up by Dr. Jiang who has more than 30 years experience in plant design in China and North America to assist the Company with the selection of mining equipment from China including crushing and grinding equipment to fully equip its production facilities. SME will also provide an independent view of the mine design and customize it for use of quality value priced Chinese equipment.

Also, good progress has been made in forming a Tsahir Community Association (TCA) that will represent the local community where the mine is located. Ultimately, TCA will hold elections for officials and be the representative body for the landowners in the region as well as being the contact point for Garrison when dealing with the community. TCA has been given the full endorsement of the Governor of the Bayanhongor Province and his team and will ensure a transparent flow for project assistance to the community. Garrison will contribute on a regular basis to support TCA with projects including schools, clinics and water systems. Garrison sees a high return from assisting the community in the project area and has formalized the relationship between stakeholders.

Finally, Garrison is pleased that approval has been given by the Bayanhongor Provincial Government for the Company to commence construction of the new tailings dam. Completion of construction is expected to take three months. Erchim Environmental Group will be monitoring the progress.
