Gartner Names IID a "Cool Vendor" for Security Intelligence

TACOMA, WA--(Marketwired - May 14, 2014) - IID, securing the Internet with shared cyber intelligence, today announced that it has been included in the "Cool Vendors in Security Intelligence, 20141" report by Gartner, Inc -- the world's leading information technology research and advisory company. This year's report highlights vendors offering innovative and forward-thinking solutions designed to address emerging and newly identified security challenges.

IID recently launched cyber threat sharing and collaboration platform ActiveTrust -- a platform leveraged by government agencies and enterprises to confidently exchange threat intelligence and coordinate responses between organizations. ActiveTrust gives its members the unique ability to share insights and discuss best practices through the platform's social network, Hub.

"Inclusion in Gartner's report illustrates the crucial need for intelligence exchanges and validates our approach to identifying and defending against cyberattacks," said IID CEO Lars Harvey. "We will use this recognition as motivation to continue providing organizations with a better way to achieve large-scale collaboration and give 'good guys' their own sharing networks to gather vital information."
