WESTBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwired - Dec 2, 2013) - C2C, a leading provider of email archiving and information management solutions, today announced that it has been recognized by Gartner Inc. in leading research firm's "Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving."* C2C was positioned in the upper right hand side of the "Niche" quadrant of the Gartner report, furthering its ultimate goal towards the "Leaders" quadrant.
The Gartner category of Enterprise Information Archiving (EIA) was identified in the report as "healthy and growing rapidly." Tracked by Gartner as a sub-segment of the storage management software market called archiving, Gartner notes, "this market will continue to see strong growth, experiencing a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.1% through 2017, from a baseline of $1.61 billion in 2012." The report includes 22 qualified vendors and an additional five vendors that didn't meet the Magic Quadrant criteria.
"We are pleased to again be recognized by Gartner in this space. We believe it is a testament that C2C is a company that stands shoulder to shoulder with larger corporate software companies and continues to deliver on its proven vision for information management across the enterprise. Being smaller enables us to provide specialist focus and personal attention to our customers," said Dave Hunt, CEO of C2C. "Year over year, C2C has moved considerably closer to Gartner's 'Leaders' quadrant, which we view as underscoring the value of our continued focus on technology for email archiving within Information Management. Gartner's evaluation is based on our 'ability to execute' and 'completeness of vision.' Our differentiators in early stage ediscovery functionality and managing live, archived and PST data are winning us more business. We would like to thank those customers whose testimonials supported our full feature email archiving solution at competitive prices and endorsed our technical vision."
C2C's ArchiveOne Enterprise is a comprehensive email archiving and information management platform that gives companies the tools they need to streamline their email environment, comply with regulatory bodies and enable the discovery of live, PST and archive data. It has been designed for the "real world" where email data may reside on Exchange servers as well as network file servers and end user systems, and, where it is not feasible to archive all email data before enforcing retention or searching messages. This "real world" approach separates ArchiveOne Enterprise from the competition because it aligns with IT organizations and drives efficiency into their daily activities -- rather than change them.
