Gary Scheiner Joins ghg | greyhealth group as Executive Vice President, Chief Creative Officer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - July 14, 2016) - ghg | greyhealth group announced that Gary Scheiner will join the agency as Executive Vice President, Chief Creative Officer, leading the creative teams at ghg worldwide offices.

Scheiner brings a wealth of expertise in the health and wellness space to the agency, including proficiency in DTC, health services, medical devices, and HCP, as well as non-healthcare categories, such as technology, insurance, automotive, and more. He has worked across direct, digital, and brand on both the national and global levels. At ghg, Scheiner will help advance the creative and strategic direction of the company, drive client relationships, grow new business, and be the creative voice of the group.

"Gary brings an enormous amount of passion and experience to ghg," says Lynn O'Connor Vos, Chief Executive Officer of ghg. "Just as we are innovating in how we service clients, we are also redefining the definition of creative within the health industry. I am excited to have Gary leading that charge."

Scheiner was most recently EVP, Executive Creative Director at Arnold Worldwide, where he helped create the Health and Wellness practice, driving successful launch campaigns for Allergan's Viberzi (IBS-D), Sanofi's Toujeo (- diabetes), and the new blockbuster cholesterol drug, Praluent, for Sanofi & Regeneron. Prior to that, he was the first Chief Creative Officer of Rosetta, where he spurred that agency on to become AdAge's 2011 #1 Agency to Watch. He has overseen work for Michelin Tires, GMC Trucks, American Express, AT&T, Marriott, and more. Scheiner has a deep commitment to pro bono clients. He launched the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, and has worked for nonprofits that include the ALS Association, City Harvest, and Special Olympics of New Jersey. He currently sits on the Ad Council Campaign Review Committee. Scheiner's first writing job was with Ogilvy Direct (now OgilvyOne Worldwide), so he is actually "coming home" to WPP.

"I truly believe the most interesting innovations and fastest growth is happening in health and wellness," said Scheiner. "I'm excited to join ghg, with its depth of capabilities and skillsets, because I believe we can create an agency that is a destination for the best talent and most daring clients. And together, we can set a new standard of creative excellence in this rapidly evolving space."
