The Gathering Returns: Annual Summit and Awards Gala Set to Honour a Distinguished New Crop of Cult-Like Global Brands

Airbnb, Movember, Carhartt and Lululemon are named as first four 2016 brand honourees

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 16, 2015) - Eight executive marketing teams representing some of the world's most fanatically revered brands will come together in Banff, AB for the third consecutive year from February 3-4, 2016, to celebrate the cult-like status they have earned among their relative armies of adoring fans, followers and consumers.

In what is quickly becoming known as the pinnacle North American event of its kind, The Gathering recognizes spectacular brand, marketing and consumer loyalty achievements. The exclusive two-day event pays homage to the courageousness of a highly select group of brands, the globally relevant status they've established, and their willingness to spill their secrets to more than 700 curious marketing contemporaries hoping to cement their own brand success.

Through a series of closed-door sessions, attendees learn the unconventional techniques these remarkable leaders and noteworthy brands have used to cultivate thriving brand cultures and win the hearts and minds of consumers around the world.

Nestled deep in a breathtaking Rocky Mountain backdrop, The Gathering takes place February 3-4, 2016 within the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and features a painstakingly selected lineup of keynote speakers and breakout presentations, coupled with brand activations, cocktail hours, film screening and networking opportunities galore, and capped off with the highly anticipated Gathering awards gala where the 2016 cult brand honourees are celebrated.

Confirmed feature presenters and honourees at the 2016 event are senior brand leaders behind Lululemon, AirBNB, The Movember Foundation, Carhartt, Cirque du Soleil, The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
