Gay Ad Network Soars to Number One Gay Web Ranking

Advertiser and Publisher Portfolio Grows as PlanetOut Advertising Director Is Hired to Expand National Sales

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 23, 2008) - Gay Ad Network, the category leading gay media network, today announced that it reached a milestone as its group of affiliated gay and lesbian web sites now ranks number one in unduplicated audience reach. According to comScore Media Metrix, Gay Ad Network sites attracted 893,000 unique users in March, surpassing all other media properties in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) category.

"The rapid traffic growth and advertiser demand for our publishers' premium inventory exemplifies the power of audience aggregation in an increasingly fragmented media environment, enabling Gay Ad Network to reach its leadership position less than one year after launching," said Elderkin.

Rosie.com, Gay Financial Network, GayGamer.Net, Gayborhood.tv, Damron and GayWheels.com are examples of new quality publishers that are now active on the network. Recent advertisers connecting to the gay and lesbian market through Gay Ad Network include Air New Zealand, Canadian Tourism Commission, Focus Features, Just for Men, Paramount Pictures, and Bridgestone.

"Bridgestone is working with Gay Ad Network this year to bring our message to a broader and more diverse gay audience," said Michael Fluck, Brand Marketing Manager, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire. "We value their network transparency and ability to develop customized media solutions."

Gay Ad Network also announced today that Scott Mazer has joined the company as Vice President of Sales to drive media sales expansion. Mazer was previously Senior Sales Director at PlanetOut Inc. where he was a top revenue producer for the company.

"Scott brings successful gay media sales experience and unique market knowledge that will be extremely valuable to our national advertisers," said Elderkin.
