GE Security Delivers Added Value to MASterMind Customers With Latest Software Launch

MASterMind 6.22.01 Demonstrates GE Security's Commitment to Its Premier Central Station Automation Software Platform With More and Better Functionality, Efficiency

ANAHEIM, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 16, 2007 -- GE Security, Inc., a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of the General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE), today announced the next release of its leading security monitoring automation software platform, MASterMind 6.22.01. The new MASterMind software is being previewed to customers today at the annual MASterMind Users Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

MASterMind 6.22.01 enhances monitoring, business, and Web software offerings and brings customers a best-in-class solution for integrating their security monitoring business requirements using one platform. It reflects feedback from GE Security's MASterMind customers who played a significant role in identifying the most important tools and features to be incorporated to meet specific business needs. It is expected that future releases incorporating enhancements based on ongoing customer feedback will follow at 12 - 18 month intervals. MASterMind 6.22.01 will be released in June 2007.

This MASterMind release includes changes that more fully use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 capabilities, offer Internet Explorer 7 compatibility and an upgrade to development tool PowerBuilder® 10.5.
