GEM Expands Western Region Reach Into Rocky Mountain States

Top Industry Talent Managing Denver Service Center

POMONA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 21, 2007 -- General Environmental Management, Inc. (OTCBB: GEVI), a leading environmental and waste remediation company, today announced the opening of a new Service Center in Denver, CO.

Managing the facility as Regional General Manager will be Andrew Jung, a seasoned environmental professional who joined GEM in October of 2006 and was instrumental in the development and preparation of the Denver Service Center. Jung brings over 12 years of diverse environmental service experience to GEM. Prior to joining GEM, he was with Clean Harbors and Teris.

The Service Center will accommodate all areas of GEM's services including hazardous and non-hazardous waste solutions, EnviroConstruction, waste re-use alternatives, GEM Mobile Treatment Services, and technical field services.
