Gemini/Silver Shield Shareholders Approve Name Change to Silver Shield Resources Corp.

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 4, 2008) - Gemini Acquisitions Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GQI) (also known as Silver Shield Resources as part of its RTO) today reported that overwhelming shareholder approval was obtained to change the corporation's name to "Silver Shield Resources Corp." (hereafter referred to as "Silver Shield" or the "Company") at the Special Meeting of Shareholders held on February 29, 2008. The Company plans to file its articles of amendment to effect the name change in the first week of March 2008. The Company has also made a request to change its trading symbol to "SSR" and such change is subject the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

As we continue to drill at our La Cumbre property in Mexico, the second largest silver producing country in the world, and begin a drill program at the Welsh Silver Mine in Elk Lake, Ontario, the corporate name and image should mirror our primary concentration, silver. I would like to extend a thank you to the shareholders for recognizing this importance and taking the time to cast their votes."

Mr. Stephen Mlot, a director of the Company and the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, stated, "The Company has just completed its first drilling program in Mexico, the leading silver producing country in the world, and with the prices of silver at 25-year highs and inventories at 50-year lows, it is essential that the Company name reflects our main focus."

Also voted on at the meeting was the proposed special resolution authorizing the consolidation of the Corporation's authorized and issued common shares on a 1.6:1 basis. The motion did not receive the required shareholder approval at the meeting and accordingly the Company will not be proceeding with any share consolidation.
