General Environmental Management Completes 1-for-30 Reverse Stock Split

POMONA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 1, 2007 -- General Environmental Management, Inc. (GEM) (OTCBB: GEVM), a leading environmental and waste remediation company, today announced it has the one-for-thirty (1:30) reverse split of its common stock approved by GEM's stockholders at a Special Shareholder Meeting on January 29, 2007 will be effective at market open on February 14, 2007.
