General Motors of Canada March Sales Results

(Non-adjusted sales results - March 2007 had 28 selling days vs. March 2006 with 27 selling days)

OSHAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 3, 2007) - For March 2007, General Motors of Canada dealers delivered a total of 36,126 units, off 18.5% versus the same month last year.

Marc Comeau, GM of Canada's vice-president of sales, service, and marketing said, "Our retail sales performance is where we expected to be for the quarter and overall our results including fleet sales are consistent with our long-term strategy to reduce our volume sold to daily rental fleets."

"Comeau added, "The buzz around Saturn's all-new, award-winning vehicle line-up is starting to translate into increased traffic to our retailers. Saturn continued its positive trend in March with strong results from the recently launched Outlook and Aura. The Vue had the second best month in its history and the Sky continues to perform well."

"Our all new line-up of vehicles, like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Silverado and GMC Yukon and Sierra are leading their segments with fuel saving Active Fuel Management technology," Comeau continued.
