General RV: Helping Underprivileged Children

WIXOM, MI--(Marketwired - Jun 7, 2013) -  President Barack Obama recently declared the month of June "Great Outdoors Month." As part of this declaration, President Obama called for change within our urban communities, and a push for implementing more outdoor recreation based activities for our youth. The President stated that the "sedentary routines" of many American children today are particularly troubling. It is President Obama's desire that this month, we all do our part to help reconnect the future leaders of tomorrow with the great outdoors.

Millions of Americans enjoy the RV lifestyle, and RVing is one of the fastest growing industries in America today. While the economy slowly improves, more families are turning to RVing as a way to vacation with the entire family. However, despite the economy being in the process of recovering, many families and children still do not have the monetary means to take a camping trip.
