generosa: A Quarter Million Raised in One Year

MAGOG, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 31, 2015) - FluidApps' generosa application is celebrating its first anniversary. The application, which serves as a web platform to collect online donations, has helped a dozen organizations of different sizes raise nearly a quarter of a million dollars.

"What sets us apart from the competition is our customer service," said Patrick Mahony, CEO of the young company. "People who do business with us are doing business with the founders. There are no middlemen, and our clients' requests are always processed within 24 hours, often on the same day."

The simplicity and user-friendliness of the generosa platform is also one of its key features.

"We've worked very hard to simplify the online donation process for users," explained generosa CTO Pier-Luc Gendreau. "In just three clicks, people can donate to the organization or foundation of their choice and receive a receipt by email. We've also simplified the process to create a donation page for foundations and implemented a user-friendly dashboard where organizations can see in real time the philanthropic activity directed at them."

Another benefit of generosa is its flexible pricing that adapts to the financial objective of each organization in order to maximize returns for clients.

"Generosa has proven to be a fast and effective fundraising tool," said Jacinthe Pichet, a teacher at the Séminaire de Sherbrooke and initiator of the Défi des familles du Séminaire de Sherbrooke. "The platform, with its social media features, let us reach students quickly. Our event was in its first year, and without generosa, our fundraising would have had limited success, but with generosa, we doubled the money raised during our race."

"The generosa customer service team was very helpful when we built the online donation platform," said Janic Allard, Event Coordinator for En Cœur, Fondation québécoise pour les enfants malades du cœur, which uses generosa for its national fundraising with a goal set at $90,000. "We were able to set up the page, make changes to the site and customize it in no time. The generosa team is quick to answer our questions and find solutions. It's a really pleasant experience."

FluidApps is one of the IT businesses at Magog Technopole which offers information technology companies the opportunity to reach their full potential with financial, logistical and technical support in an environment featuring the infrastructure of a city, but with a laid back atmosphere.
