Genius Inside Announces Support for Apple iPads, iPhones and Mac Desktops

Users Can Check Project Statuses, Update Progress, Collaborate, and See Real-Time Dashboard Data Through Apple Desktops and Mobile Devices

MONTREAL and GENEVA--(Marketwire - December 15, 2010) - Genius Project customers who use Apple products now have full mobile and desktop access to Genius Project features and data through new support for iPhone, iPad and Macintosh desktops, Genius Inside announced today.

Apple support enables Genius Project users to check assignments, report time investments, update progress, and approve, deny and or verify tasks through the Web browsers on their iPads, iPhones and Mac computers. Executives can also view real-time dashboard data and updates. Functionality available through Genius Inside's new Apple support includes:

  • portfolio, resource and document management;

  • team collaboration;

  • project tracking;

  • cost and budget tracking;

  • invoicing;

  • project demand management;

  • risk and change management;

  • dashboards and reporting.

Macintosh desktop users also have access to Gantt charts, which are based on Java and do not run on handheld devices.
