Genius Inside Passes Halfway Mark of 2011 With Higher Income and Broader Customer Base

Software-as-a-Service Earnings Lead Double-Digit Growth While New Customers Such as McGill University Adopt Project Portfolio Management Solutions

MONTREAL and GENEVA--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2011) - Double-digit income growth and a large crop of new customers have marked the first half of 2011 for Genius Inside. The company is gaining on every front from the same period in 2010, pointing to a second consecutive successful year despite the global economy's softness.

Genius Inside has seen demand for its Genius Project PPM (project portfolio management) software grow steadily through 2011. The company's 2011 Q1-Q2 global income increased 11 percent compared to the same period in 2010. North American income was 161 percent higher, and software as a service (SaaS) income increased 95 percent. Its SaaS new client base grew 25 percent. The company's global new customer base grew 30 percent from 2010 while the installed client base grew 36 percent. In North America, Genius Inside's client base grew 33 percent while the European client base increased 29 percent.

Among Genius Inside's new North American customers were McGill University in Montreal, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Utah grocery chain Harmon City Inc. New European customers include: Weidenhammer Packaging Group of Germany; software company SCIA of Belgium; and French bank PNP Parisbas.

Genius Inside has also attracted greater industry recognition in 2011. Gartner Inc.'s 2011 MarketScope report for Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) applications rated Genius Inside a "promising" company. Genius Inside is also a sponsor of the Australian Lotus Notes User Group event to be held this August.
