Genius Project Version 7.2 Delivers Over 150 Improvements

Enhanced Social Collaboration, Customizable Fields for Better Reporting, Gantt Chart Makeover, and More

MONTREAL, QUEBEC and GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2013) - Genius Inside released today a new version of its Genius Project project and portfolio management (PPM) software boasting over 150 improvements and features including email integration and an improved "Project Wall" leaving no "project collaboration" stone unturned by ensuring the capture of all project communications into a single system.

The new email collaboration capabilities empowers both license and non-licensed users to directly interact with Genius Project via any standard email system capturing email threads and responses within the Genius Project interface. Along with the enhanced social collaboration capabilities of Genius Live!, organizations now have a single place to track and organize all project communications. Version 7.2 will also offer complete Microsoft Outlook integration allowing you to automatically capture and track tasks and to-dos through a standard iCalendar feed.

Genius Project 7.2 will also deliver the following features:

  • New Genius Live! personal dashboard, displaying all your work and communications in a single view via your Project Wall
  • Customizable fields allowing you to add news fields to any form and/or templates
  • Bulk edit directly within list view reports. In numerous list views you can directly update values without opening specific records
  • New Gantt chart, with updated look & feel and enhanced functions
