Gentiae Announces Additions to Senior Management Team

Industry Veterans Join Leading Clinical ECG and Imaging Core Lab

SAN BRUNO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2006 -- Gentiae Clinical Research, Inc., the leader in comprehensive cardiac safety assessment services, announced today the addition of two new executives to their senior management team. Peter G. Amatulli was appointed vice president of commercial development, responsible for managing business partnerships, as well as building and leading all global sales efforts. In addition, C. Anthony Jones, M.D., was appointed vice president of marketing, with responsibility for development and primary execution of Gentiae's market strategy as well as developing key strategic partnerships and alliances.

Mr. Amatulli has broad experience in the clinical research industry. Before joining Gentiae, Amatulli served as vice president of sales and marketing at MDS Pharma Services. Additional experience includes his role as senior vice president of global new business development at Kendle International, and vice president of sales and clinical support services for Covance Inc.

Dr. Jones brings nearly a dozen years of experience in developing and marketing innovative businesses in the healthcare market. First with Deloitte Consulting, then as vice president of the Health and Wellness unit at Scient, he has led marketing strategy projects for some of the industry's leading companies. Previously, Dr. Jones was a Director at Reuters Health where he managed the creation of "ReutersHealth.com," a leading healthcare news licensing business.
