Geocom Terminates Iliamna Equity Interest Sale

BELLINGHAM, WA--(Marketwire - March 17, 2008) - Geocom Resources Inc. (OTCBB: GOCM) ("Geocom" or "The Company") hereby announces that, pursuant to continuing discussions with Goldmark Minerals Ltd., the Company has elected not to complete the transaction contemplated in the November 20, 2007 news release. The Company had previously agreed to sell its interest in the Iliamna Project in Alaska, and a partial interest in its Marcelita-Santa Rosa Project in central Chile.

Geocom has continued its exploration and evaluation of its south Chile properties. With the termination of the Geocom - Goldmark agreement, the Company will now proceed with exploration at its Iliamna Project in Alaska, a joint venture with BHP Billiton and at the Company's wholly owned Marcelita-Santa Rosa Project near Copiapo in central Chile.
