George Dramowicz Joins Merix Corporation

BEAVERTON, OR--(Marketwire - May 2, 2008) - Merix Corporation (NASDAQ: MERX) announced today that George Dramowicz has joined Merix as its Vice President of Quality. Mr. Dramowicz, age 56, most recently was Director of Corporate/Global Quality at Celestica International. Prior to Celestica, Mr. Dramowicz held leadership positions at Honeywell/Allied Signal, Canadian Marconi and Pratt & Whitney Canada. He was also on the faculty of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Mr. Dramowicz holds engineering degrees from Warsaw Technical University and has participated in the Management Institute at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
