LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - Former Guess? Jeans co-founder, Georges Marciano, has begun stepping up his campaign to become the Governor of the State of California. With the slogan 'Enough is Enough,' Marciano recognizes that California is in trouble, the residents are hurting, the rich keep getting richer and politicians seem to be taking care of themselves.

Marciano is dedicated to making California a better place for the people. Currently his five key campaign issues focus on; 'Fighting for the forgotten citizens of California'; 'Putting the people first, not only the wealthy'; 'Job Creation'; 'Demanding corporate responsibility'; 'Education'; and 'Breaking the political stalemate.'

Fighting for transparency and bringing to light injustice, Marciano states, "Our city is almost bankrupt, they are laying off teachers, hundreds of thousands of people are losing their jobs, their house because of the banks... " Calling out to Governor Schwarzenegger, Marciano exclaims, "Mr. Governor, Can you look into this reward of $1 Billion to Bank of America, this can not be real when your citizens are selling their crown teeth for six dollars… join me and stand up for justice, support Georges Marciano for Governor 2010. www.georgesmarciano.com.
