GES and Smartmatic Complete Successful Organized Labor Election in Hawaii

Global Arena Holding's Subsidiary Engaged the Services of Leading Voting Technology Provider to Support Major Union Election

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 19, 2016) - Global Arena Holding, Inc. (OTC PINK: GAHC) (the "Company") announced today that the Company's subsidiary, Global Election Services, Inc. ("GES"), successfully completed an election for a Hawaiian Union, doing so with the support of a leading voting technology provider, Smartmatic; ensuring a technologically sound and seamless election process.

Mr. John Matthews, CEO of Global Arena Holding, Inc. said, "It was a wonderful opportunity for GES to work with one of the world's leading election technology providers. Smartmatic provided exceptional services. The hardware and software operated phenomenally, and the professionalism of the Smartmatic team accompanying GES to Hawaii, truly demonstrated why Smartmatic is a technology leader in elections worldwide."

The Election, whose results will be filed with the United States Department of Labor, consisted of an in-person vote on Day 1 and a mail ballot tabulation on Day 2. Mr. Matthews continued, "The hardware and software provided by Smartmatic, was robust enough to tally multiple candidates, and record each ballot separately by capturing a picture of each individual ballot. This ensured a backup paper trail while simultaneously computing the election results."

Smartmatic, which has overseen the casting of over 3.7 Billion votes and 3,500+ elections using its unique voting system technologies, has the ability to provide a stable, reliable platform, from which the Company can leverage its interest in elections; particularly its access to those blockchain technologies, licenses and patents supporting election services.

Mr. Matthews concluded, "As the relationships between people and their respective governments, municipalities and labor organizations transform and grow, the need for transparent and efficient election services will become even more essential tomorrow, than they are today. GES plans to leverage strategic relationships with major election technology providers like Smartmatic, to which we strongly believe, will result in GES becoming an industry leader within a recession-resistant market -- offering safe, trustworthy and legitimate election services to all, on a global scale."
