Gesa Credit Union Celebrates the Opening of Two New Branches

Credit Union Expands Branch Network in Two of the Fastest Growing Areas in Washington State

RICHLAND, WA--(Marketwired - Apr 10, 2014) - Gesa Credit Union is delighted to open the doors to two new branch locations; bringing the credit union's branch network to a total of thirteen branches. The first branch to celebrate their opening will be located in the booming Rd. 68 area of West Pasco. This branch has been built to replace a smaller retail location that the credit union has quickly outgrown.

The second branch to open this week will be the credit union's thirteenth branch and is located in the rapidly developing Queensgate neighborhood of Richland.

"We have been providing outstanding member service throughout Eastern Washington for the last 60 years, and the opening of these branches extends our ability to provide the convenience that our members have come to expect," said Don Miller, Gesa President and CEO. "When we choose to build a new branch, we give careful consideration to location. We have selected these locations in west Pasco and south Richland based on the feedback we have received directly from our members."

In addition to traditional credit union member service officers, both branches will feature on-site mortgage and commercial lending officers, LPL Certified Financial Consultants, touch-screen kiosk technology to access more information about credit union products and services, and a drive-up, deposit-taking ATM available twenty-four hours a day.

Gesa Credit Union has served Washington State's Tri-Cities community since 1953, and is one of the state's largest credit unions with $1.3 billion in assets and 116,000 members at December 31, 2013. Gesa is a full service financial institution that offers a complete array of consumer, mortgage and business products and services.
