Since November 2014, guests of Threadneedles - an Autograph Collection hotel -- in the heart of The City, have no excuse for looking anything other than the height of City chic thanks to Henry Herbert Tailors' Savile Row by Scooter service, which brings bespoke tailoring to their bedroom.
Guests of Threadneedles -- the Square Mile's original boutique hotel -- are able to arrange appointments with Henry Herbert Tailors at any time of day or night, to be measured up for suits and shirts made from the finest English and Scottish fabrics, in the Savile Row tradition. The tailors travel exclusively by Scooter, whizzing about the capital and bringing exceptional service and the tools of the trade with them, including 2,000 fabric swatches.
Following the initial consultation, a bespoke suit is fitted and finished in between four-eight weeks, with an Express Service available for shirts (two weeks). The finished product will then either be sent directly to the guest's home, bringing a stich of bespoke British Tailoring to their doorstep, or returned to the hotel to be collected on their next visit. Last-minute alterations can also be fixed at any time, day or night.
