Get Creative in the Kitchen With Your Children This Summer

Here are some of Chef Pepín's favorite good-for-you blueberry recipe ideas that are sure to be a hit with even the pickiest little chefs!

  • Funny Face Tostadas - Crisp tortillas and a variety of fruits including blueberries give your kids all they need to create edible art on a tostada. This activity is a great way to encourage your kids to try new fruits.
  • Chicken and Blueberry Salad Tacos - Add blueberries to chicken salad for flavor and color, then roll it up in a lettuce cup or whole wheat flour tortilla. Kids can fill their own tacos, then just grab-and-go. 
  • Tropical Fruit Boats - Let your kids' imaginations set sail! When they build their own little banana boats on a sea of blueberries, they'll use their creative talent in the kitchen and enjoy a tasty fruit snack.
  • Batidos de Blueberry - With only three ingredients, your kids can whirl a delicious batido -- perfect for breakfast or a quick, healthy snack.
