Get in Tune With Travelodge

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - April 24, 2012) - Usually a rock-n-roll-style fusion with hotels results in lurid tales of throwing televisions out of windows and screaming groupies prowling the corridors to try and snatch a glimpse of their pop idol.

However Travelodge hotels' harmonious partnership with a top capital radio station, will bring you all of the thrills of live music and getting close to some top bands, without the hefty hotel damage bill to go with it.

The Absolute Radio Competition aims to celebrate Travelodge having more hotel rooms in the capital than anyone else, along with the many fabulous and funky attractions the nation's capital has available to entertain even the most seasoned traveler.

The first competition, using the tagline "You can be next to something for next to nothing", sees the following up for grabs:

A trip for two, staying in a central London Travelodge hotel and tickets to see either The Charlatans at London Hammersmith Apollo, or Keane at London Brixton Academy, plus £500 spending money.

Both gigs are on 8 June, and you'll be staying in the Travelodge for Friday 8 June and Saturday 9 June 2012.

Further promotions will be revealed over the forthcoming weeks include a trip for two staying in a central London Travelodge hotel over Jubilee weekend, dinner at a top London restaurant plus £500 spending money and a trip for two staying in a central London Travelodge hotel and tickets to Wimbledon plus £500 spending money.

The competition also showcases the top five Travelodge London destinations, including Covent Garden, Waterloo, Docklands, City Road and Euston.
