Getfugu Engages Nuance to Expand Voice Recognition Interface to Accommodate Surge of Business From Launch of Keyword Sales for Local Businesses

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - March 23, 2010) -  Getfugu, Inc. (http://www.getfugu.com/) (OTCBB: GFGU), the next generation mobile search tool, has re-engaged Nuance Communications, Inc., the Company that provides Getfugu's voice recognition interface, to enlarge its ability to deliver instant results to increasing numbers of global consumers who are downloading its singular 'See it,' 'Say it' and 'Get It,' ARL (Augmented Reality Links) and VRL (Voice Recognition Links), which gives consumers a direct connection to the Web.

Rich Jenkins, co-founder and head of business development at Getfugu, states, "We are launching the keyword sales for local businesses and growing so quickly that we had to re-assess our business and re-engage Nuance in order to meet this new surge. Our standard ARL/VRL package includes the name of the business (voice recognition) and logo of the business (logo recognition), so Joe's Pizza gets 'Joe's Pizza' for VRL and uses his logo for ARL. In addition, Joe's Pizza can elect to purchase the voice keyword 'pizza.' Keywords are sold by zip code, so Joe's Pizza can purchase 'pizza' in West Hollywood for $99/mo. When a consumer says 'Pizza' into their phone, and is in West Hollywood, Joe's Pizza shows up on a map that directs consumers directly to Joe's Pizza. There are 10 places for each keyword in each zip code. For the consumer, it's a great way to find services right around them. For the small business, Keyword sales are a great way to drive revenue, because consumers that wouldn't be aware of Joe's can capture new business. On the Getfugu side, this is an opportunity to drive more revenue from existing customers."

"Nuance is the best in class for voice recognition incorporating our type of application and provides Getfugu with the ultimate speech recognition engine," Jenkins continued. "Through our newly appointed sales channels, including 2,000 sales agents at Salesconx, our newly appointed partnerships, such as with Texas Instruments, and our 100,000 download milestone, we are preparing for an exciting and dynamic future."

Getfugu is providing a Sneak Preview of its new application with a Logo Drive Campaign at the CTIA 2010 Wireless Trade Show, in Las Vegas, at booth, #6946, in the North Hall of the Convention Center.
