GetWellNetwork Founder and CEO to Deliver Keynote on Interactive Patient Care at Hasbro Children's Hospital IPC Symposium

What: Michael O'Neil, founder and chief executive officer of GetWellNetwork, Inc., will present the keynote address on Patient and Clinical Experiences with Interactive Patient Care Technology at Hasbro Children's Hospital's 1st Annual IPC Symposium: Celebrating Interactive Patient Care. O'Neil's presentation will be given at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., January 24, 2013, at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, R.I.

O'Neil will address the imperative for patient and family engagement and demonstrate the positive impact it has had on patient care and hospital outcomes at facilities across the U.S. Since 2011, Hasbro Children's Hospital has been using GetWellNetwork's Interactive Patient Care solution to engage pediatric patients and provide them with an educational resource to learn about their conditions, as well as a way to connect with friends and family outside the hospital.

The symposium is devoted to discussing the patient experience as an essential element to the quality and future of health care delivery. Participants include leaders from Hasbro Children's Hospital and other distinguished hospitals and health care organizations.

About Michael O'Neil
