OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2012) - Tune in to the Snowsuit Fund Radiothon tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. on Ottawa's CHEZ 106, Y101 and 105.3 KISS FM, and hear Lauren Moir, Vice President Marketing, Giant Tiger Stores Limited talk about Giant Tiger's amazing contribution of over 700 snowsuits, valued at approximately $43,000.
This is Giant Tiger's second year participating in the Radiothon. The New 105.3 KISS FM, Y101 and CHEZ 106 are broadcasting live and taking calls until 6:00 p.m. for listeners to donate $40 to buy a snowsuit for a child in need. Listeners wishing to donate during the Radiothon may call (613) 750-1053.
The Snowsuit Fund is an Ottawa-based charity that raises funds for the purchase and distribution of snowsuits to needy children, 15 years and under. During the 2011/2012 season, The Snowsuit Fund distributed over 15,000 new snowsuits and has been keeping children warm for 30 years.
