GIGABYTE G1-Killer™ Motherboards Deliver Lethal Online Gaming Performance With Bigfoot Networks Killer™ Technology

Bigfoot Networks Killer™ E2100 Platform Powers Latest Gaming Motherboards at 2011 CES

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - January 5, 2011) - CES -- Bigfoot Networks, the technology company behind the Killer™ line of gaming network cards, today announced that GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd's new line of G1-Killer™ gaming motherboards employs Bigfoot Networks' Killer™ E2100 networking platform, enabling maximum speed and precision in the latest generation of online games.

The Killer™ E2100 platform is a new, embedded version of Bigfoot Networks' award-winning Killer™ 2100 gaming network card, which offers unrivaled performance, intelligence and control to online gamers. Killer™ E2100 leverages a dedicated network processing unit and exclusive Game Networking DNA™ technology to detect and accelerate online game traffic on embedded solutions such as motherboards, multi-function cards and add-in cards, for the fastest Gigabit Ethernet networking available for online gaming. By licensing Killer™ technology to leading firms, Bigfoot Networks is expanding ways gamers can maximize networking for their online gameplay -- whether they are upgrading an existing PC or building a new gaming rig.

Today's news marks the latest in a series of recent product partnerships and distribution agreements for Bigfoot Networks. In August 2010, Bigfoot Networks announced that Dell was shipping the Killer™ 2100 in Alienware gaming desktops. In September, the company announced retail partnerships with Fry's Electronics and Micro Center. In November, VisionTek paired the Killer™ E2100 platform with AMD Radeon™ HD 5000 graphics in the Killer™ HD 5770, the world's first single-slot gaming upgrade card for PCs, combining superior graphics with high-performance networking.

"The strong demand for Killer™ technology reflects a major shift in the gaming industry," said Michael Howse, CEO of Bigfoot Networks. "The action these days is increasingly happening online, and the quality of your network connection plays a critical role in your gaming experience. With Killer™ E2100, players go into combat armed with the fastest, deadliest network technology ever made."

"Like soldiers about to head out into the line of fire, elite gamers know that the equipment they use can mean the difference between getting the frag or being fragged," commented Henry Kao, Senior Vice President of Research and Development at GIGABYTE. "As the world's only motherboards to feature Bigfoot Networks' Killer™ E2100 Game Networking Platform directly onboard, the G1-Killer™ series motherboards provide a serious advantage to any gamer looking to move quicker, shoot faster and win bigger."

Bigfoot Networks and GIGABYTE are demonstrating the new line of G1-Killer™ gaming motherboards featuring Killer™ E2100 technology during the 2011 International CES event in Las Vegas, January 6-9, in the GIGABYTE briefing suites.
