Ms. Almas Jiwani, CEO of the Almas Jiwani Foundation will address Master of Business Administration (MBA) students and industry leaders at the annual John Molson School of Business MBA Women in Business Club Conference titled "Power of Collaboration: Achieve more, Be Empowered, Find Your Inspiration" to take place on Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Plaza Centre-Ville Montreal, Quebec.

"I've had the pleasure to meet Ms. Jiwani over the course of the John Molson MBA International Case Competition (MBA ICC). She is a highly energetic individual and transfers this energy to the people around her. Her enthusiasm and thirst for helping others is beyond admirable. As I've seen Ms. Jiwani interact with fellow judges at our competition, she has this ability to connect with any type of individual coming from any type of background by engaging and understanding them" said conference organizer, Ms. Sara Nasr.

The Women in Business Conference is a studentrun initiative organized by John Molson School of Business and HECMontréal. It will bring together over 150 attendees including MBA and other graduatelevel business students, alumni, faculty, Montreal business professionals, and distinguished speakers. The Annual Conference gives attendees the opportunity to engage and network through a variety of forums including panels, keynote speakers, and discussions.

"When women are empowered as entrepreneurs everybody benefits - from healthy families to soaring GDP, I strongly believe that encouraging women to succeed in business is the single most important determinant of a country's economic growth and standard of living." said Almas Jiwani. "Sadly, women around the globe continue to represent a largely untapped potential across industries due to ubiquitous challenges of balancing family and work life, along with the problem of pay inequity. Advances through business innovation can help unlock this potential by working with employers to encourage flexible work hours and programs that fit the needs of the modern female entrepreneur." stated Almas Jiwani.

"Ms. Jiwani is a charismatic woman and people tend to gravitate towards her. Not only do I think she has the background and knowledge to share her experiences and enlighten our audience, but she would be a captivating speaker that would engage and charm all of our guests." said Ms Sara Nasr.
